My story
The background
I'm Rhyannan, a portfolio finance director. That means I work with a small number of organisations at once, giving each one senior finance support without the cost of a full-time hire.
I've held senior finance roles since 2022 in creative businesses, charities and community interest companies. I currently run the finance at a well-known Bristol audio post-production studio.
I started on the hands-on side: bookkeeping, reconciliations, untangling messy setups. I still do that work. Bookkeeping needs regular care, so I set up simple, low-fuss routines that keep it on track.
What I'm good at
From tangle to pattern
I'm a systems person. Sales, costs, time and plans often live in different places. I bring them together so you can see the whole picture.
Then I look for the patterns. I'll often spot a risk or a missed opportunity before it shows up in the bank balance.
